Current Account

Current accounts can be opened in the names of individuals (singly or jointly), proprietory concerns, partnerships, companies etc. for depositing cash / cheque and making payments on account of business transactions. These accounts are mainly designed specially to meet their business requirements.

Current account can be opened with Rs.2,500/- and Minimum balance to be maintain is Rs.2,500/-. The account is operated by cheque only. Though no interest is payable on this type of account, there is no restriction on the number of transactions.

Issue of cheque book at a nominal cost of Rs.2/- per leaf. Free manual/computerised statement of account every month. Collection of local cheques free and collection of outstation cheques through special schemes is made available at nominal charges.

Standing instructions of the customers are also accepted. No charges will be levied for standing instructions within the Branch such as payment of monthly installment of Recurring Deposit, payment of EMI of loan account, etc.

Nomination facility is available for individual/sole proprietary accounts.

Documents Required

Duly filled in Account Opening Form with valid residential proof/s, PAN Number/s, 2 photographs and introduction by existing account holder of the Bank
